I am a PhD student of plant ecology. For my PhD thesis I am studying the distribution of closely related species Anthoxanthum odoratum and A. alpinum along the altitudinal and latitudinal gradients in Europe. Concurrently, I am studying the drivers of their distribution, in the field (Norway, Alps, Krkonoše Mts.) and in climate chambers. Thus, I will be able to model their current and future distribution under different climate change scenarios. In Krkonoše Mountains, I study a change in Anthoxanthum distribution over the last 20 years. Besides, I am interested in population demography, I participate in projects dealing with population dynamics of several endangered plant species.
