I am specialized in microbial ecology in an environmental and agroecological context. I am interested in the study of the response of the microbial component, fundamental for the well-functioning of our ecosystems, to the global changes. I mainly focus on the interactions between plant and telluric microbes. My aim is to understand how the changes affecting the soil microbes directly or indirectly, via the host plant, will affect the plant performances. My current research is focused on identifying why some rare grassland plant species are not able to colonize former agricultural fields abandoned.
