Martina Sychrová

Martina Sychrová studied physical geography at the Department of Geography at the Masaryk University. The main research topic of her final thesis (BSc. and MSc.) was invasive ecology of plants. She is currently continuing the studies at the Department of Geography as a Ph.D. student. She focuses on biological invasions, especially on patterns of non-native species along environmental and geographical gradients. Specific topics include species distribution modeling and relationship between diversity and historical landscape changes (with an emphasis on non-native species in both cases).
