While studying the forestry at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague I became more and more interested in vegetation ecology, therefore I decided to change the field of study. Specifically, I am now atthe stage of finishing the Master studies in the Geobotany at Charles University, Faculty of Science. I focus mainly on the vegetation of the European forests and pathogen-host interactions as well as their interaction with the environment. Furthermore, I am interested in topics such as close to nature forestry or traditional agriculture. Besides my studies, I am interested in protected areas management, particularly actively. Occasionally, you can see me fighting with ingrowing vegetation in Czechia, with a chainsaw in my hand.
