Department of Vegetation Ecology

Personal webpage:

In 2004, I graduated in Systematic biology and ecology and embarked on PhD studies at the Department of Botany and Zoology, Masaryk University in Brno. I successfully defended my PhD thesis on the diversity of the perennial ruderal and trampled vegetation in the Czech Republic in 2009.

My main research interest lies in the synanthropic flora and vegetation (phytosociology, diversity, ecology of plant communities and their invasibility). I am experienced in the analysis and classification of large phytosociological data sets. I am especially interested in the ruderal vegetation of anthropogenic habitats and in the flora of walls and castle ruins.

Currently, I am on parental leave.
