Project description:
Aim of this project is to foster restoration of coppicing management in the Czech Republic. This concerns research on and overcoming constraints of a complex character. Solution therefore requires application-oriented research interconnecting several disciplines. Within the project, communication and information tools will be developed and applied involving forest managers, nature conservation and local administration bodies. We will also perform a field research at several sites, which will bring data used in project outcomes. At the end of the project, in 2022, outcomes will be reached through the above-mentioned procedures. The outcomes will serve for dissemination of information about the environmental, economic and social benefits of coppicing management.
