Lukáš Kala
Lukáš Kala graduated in Environmental Humanities at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, where he also received a Ph.D. diploma. He is concerning about environmental sociology. He specializes in research into the environmental aspects of lifestyle. In his dissertation thesis, he focused on the research of environmental aspects of single-person households. The research was also published in collective monography SAMI DOMA (2014). In follow-up projects, he focused on research into an environmentally friendly lifestyle. He participated in the third wave of longitudinal investigation of so called “voluntarily modest people” with the team of prof. Hana Librová. The research findings have been published in book Faithful and Reasonable (2017). Recently, he has devoted himself to applied social science research within the project TAČR „Agroforestry – potential for regional development and sustainable rural landscape“ where The Botanical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is a research partner.
