Summary: |
The project aim is a synthesis of the data about plant species diversity in storage pond complexes in the Czech Republic. The objectives of the project are: (1) flora and vegetation inventarisation; (2) investigation of the factors contributing to high species diversity of this habitat (natural conditions, age of habitat, disturbance type, mechanisms influencing the colonization of storage ponds etc.). The soil seed bank and diaspore dispersal by water, fish stock and equipment for fishpond management will be investigated. Simulation experiments, monitoring of vegetation on disturbed plots and analysis of the samples of various materials containing diaspores will be used. |
