Realization to: |
2010 |
Summary: |
Lichen thallus tolerating freezing temperatures contains high levels of manitol and ribitol. The aim of the project is to qualify how ribitol affects photosynthesis resistance to low temperatures, and to determine ribitol concentrations that positively affect photosythetic processes at low temperatures. Studies are performed in two species of lichens, Lasallia pustulata and Umbilicaria hirsuta. |
