Realization to: |
1998 |
Summary: |
The vegetation reconstruction was based on 17 new pollen diagrams from bogs, mires and lake sediments of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava). More than 1,000 pollen samples have been examined for a purpose of vegetation development. The project promotes a palaeoecological study on the vegetation history in the Šumava Mts. For to reconstruct landscape dynamics the main reference sites Mrtvý luh, Velká Niva and Rokytecká slať were investigated, including recent phytosociological, hydrological and trophic conditions. The Late Glacial and the Holocene development was examined from the pollen analytical viewpoint and it was compared with the vegetation and landscape dynamics in the German part of the Šumava Mts as well. |
