Summary:	The aim of this project is the research and optimization of production and isolation of bioactive substances produced by traditional Czech medicinal herbs, formulation of these isolated substances into suitable application forms and in-vitro study of biological activity, eventually penetration of cellular barriers modeling bioavailability for the organism to obtain natural active substances for the use in dermatology, nutraceuticals, dermocosmetics and for general strengthening the body's defenses. Bioprospection of individual extracts or isolated compounds or fractions will also provide a sufficient informative scientific basis for medical use (eg. detected antimicrobial activities, antitumor activities), including the use of publication potential for participating scientific institutes.
