| Summary: | The project aims to obtain the data related to fluvial geomorphology, sedimentology, hydrology, and botany, interpret the data using an interdisciplinary approach, and propose optimisation management measures applicable in protection and water management of the Elbe lower reach. Proposed management measures shall be developed in compliance with the predicted effect of the global climatic change in the area concerned. Outputs shall comprise specialised maps, certified methodology of appropriate management in relation to the habitats in question, as well as a methodologically designed set of revitalisation measures aiming at reinforcing the hydromorphological quality of the Elbe lower reach and sustainability of 3270 habitats. |
