Summary: |
The landscape among Mossviertel, Waldviertel, Weinviertel and Jihočeský, Jihomoravský and Vysočina regions are heavily influenced by fragmentation, the important protected and core areas are isolated. The main goals of the project are (i) to contribute to connecting of ecological networks and corridors of wild animals across the political border, (ii) protection and revitalization of peatbogs in both countries, (iii) protection of population of wild cat and (iv) development of management concepts for the forest biotopes and flora in the National Parks Thayatal and Podyjí. |
